Unfortunately we do have a late cancelation from the south-west of Germany, TSVMalmsheim BU14. Half of the team got touched positive by the corona-virus. Table-Referee is online

According to our project-thoughts, teams need to make sure if there is a table-referee-job to do before or after all games on friday & saturday. We stick with the covid-rules from the beginning. As a kids-project we need to make sure that everybody stay safe and healthy. Schedule update 2.0 will be updated in the morning.

20 countries among 110 teams are participating: AT / AF / BE / CS / DK / ES / FR / DE / IT / LU / NL / NO / OF / PS / PT / SY / TR / US / VN / ZW. After 2 years without Eastercup-Vibes we are happy to announce the following openers for the 9th annual. Besides regular guests like ALBA/SGH Berlin/Team Tucholsky for example Rennes-Berlin from France makes the tip-off for International Eastercup 2022.

OFFICE & COURTS

Opening Hours for Office 8:30 – 12:00 and 15:00 – 18:30. IMPORTANT: Only at opening hours somebody is reachable at office.  While checking in @office, you will get an office mobile number for urgent calls. This number is only reachable at day time 8:00 -> 22:30. WhatsApp, Signal and Telegram will also be reachable. All our playgrounds/courts are in Berlin-Moabit/Tiergarten!

Cupcard College SOLD OUT

All College-Cupcards are sold out. Make sure when you book Cupcard Highschool, that you can get access to the rooms around 6pm. Available are only Highschool/Warriors at the moment.

Parking-costs and shuttle-service

Just to let you know: There will be no shuttle-service this year, but we are able to bring public-transport-tickets to bus/train/airport-station. Please contact office if you are interested in that kind of service. Nowadays you`ll need to pay for every parking-slot in Moabit. On friday/sunday/monday you can for free down there.

Wie auch in den Jahren 2018 und 2019 sind die Konkurrenzen der Mädchen & Jungen U14 wieder FIBA anerkannt. Der Vorschlag kam vom Deutschen Basketball Bund, der zu Beginn eines jeden Kalenderjahres
der FIBA Vorschläge gibt, welches Turnier aus Deutschland repräsentative Wirkung erzielen darf.
In 2019 wurde das Projekt von Kindern für Kinder auch als FIBA Turnier des Jahres in Europa im U14-Zeitalter ausgezeichnet. Der International Eastercup Berlin-Moabit darf zurecht stolz auf diese hohe Auszeichnung sein. Zum ersten Mal überhaupt ist damit ein Turnier in Deutschland von der FIBA zum ´FIBA Europe U14 tournament of the year´ erklärt worden. Herzlichen Glückwunsch!
Bei der Ehrung auf dem Foto sind u.a. Jan-Martin Hinck und Jan Wangerpohl aus Niedersachen vertreten. „Beide sind Urväter des International Eastercup aus Berlin-Moabit und nicht mehr aus dem Projekt wegzudanken, „äußerte Dirk Drutschmann, der auch mit Sascha Dieterich, Vizepräsident der FIBA Europe Jugend-Kommission, auf dem Foto zu sehen ist.
